On April 16th and 17th, 2009, 48 students from the College of Liberal Arts presented their scholarly and creative work at the 2009 CoLA Undergraduate Research and Creativity Conference. Everyone is invited to attend. And please, encourage your students to attend as well. The National Smart Grant is available during the third and fourth years of undergraduate study (must have at least 72 hours), to full-time students who are eligible for the Federal Pell Grant and who are majoring in Japanese. The student must also have maintained a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 in coursework required for the major. The National SMART Grant award is in addition to the student's Pell Grant award.
If you qualify, you will receive the grant through the MU Office of Financial Aid.
