LCOB Changes General Education Requirements |

The LCOB faculty voted to make numerous changes to the general education requirements. These changes will be effective Fall 2009. Because these changes eliminate some course requirements, they could benefit you, no matter what catalog year you started.
The changes are as follows: |

- Elimination of MTH 203
- Elimination of the 3-4 hour science elective
- Elimination of 6 hours of American Institutions Electives
- Elimination of 6 hours of Arts/Humanities Electives
- Elimination of 3 hours of International Studies Elective
These eliminated courses will be replaced with free electives. A free elective is a course that is 100 level and above. If you have not completed one or more of the above-listed requirements, you can replace it with a free elective.
