This certificate is designed for students with non-business undergraduate degrees. It is envisioned as a generalist overview of graduate business topics.
The Graduate Certificate in Business Management Foundations will help students to improve their depth of knowledge or skills, remain competitive in the job market, learn new skills, advance their careers, or pursue personal enrichment. Anyone desiring to enroll in the Business Management Foundations Certificate Program is encouraged to contact the Graduate School of Management Academic Advisor for further information.
Students desiring a fully developed master’s degree in business should enroll in the MBA program.
Curriculum:
The Graduate Certificate in Business Management Foundations program consists of 15 credit hours, Students pursuing a certificate must complete the following courses:

All five courses must be taken; no courses may be waived.
Successful completion of the program requires a minimum 3.0 GPA with no more than 2 C’s in the course work.
Successful completion of the program results in the student being awarded a Certificate in Business Management Foundations.

Requirements:
- Admission to the Graduate Certificate in Business Management Foundations Program is based on receipt of a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university and the information provided on the Application for Admission form.
- A student who successfully completes the series of courses will earn a certificate.
