The Marshall University College of
Business Hall of Fame has been created to
honor those people in the business community
who have dedicated their lives to excellence
and achievement.
Membership in the Hall of Fame is a life
award determined by the College of Business
Advisory Board. As the most
distinguished honor granted by the College
of Business, the award is given to those
with an outstanding record of long-standing
achievement in the candidates' career
fields.
The criteria for this award include an
untarnished reputation, at least 25 years
served in the person's professional life (a
career change does not make a person
ineligible), and professional standing
evidenced by other major awards or
recognition on a state, regional or national
level.
Nominations are made before September 1
of each year with nominations taken from the
public. The nominator furnishes the Advisory
Board with a biographical sketch of the
nominee.
