HALL OF FAME 1999 Angus E. Peyton A partner in the law firm Brown & Peyton in Charleston, WV. He was past chair and long standing member of the Board of Advisors for the West Virginia Graduate College. He was a charter member of the West Virginia Round Table and was chairman of the Business Industrial Development Company and W.E. Chilton, III Leadership Lecture Series. He has been a former Director of Daymark, Inc. (a half-way house), the United Way of Kanawha Valley, and a former Board Member of the Charleston Symphony. He has been the recipient of the 1996 YMCA Spirit of the Valley Award, the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies Doctor of Laws Award, the Distinguished West Virginian 1984 awarded by the Governor of the State of West Virginia, John D. Rockefeller, IV, and the John Marshall Medal for Civic Responsibility from Marshall University.
