As part of LGBT History Month the LGBT Outreach will be hosting a series of Brown Bag Lunches. WEDNESDAYS AT 12:00 PM IN THE LGBT OUTREACH OFFICE What is a Brown Bag Lunch? These are informal lunch time discussions between faculty, staff, and students focus on various topics and often feature guest leaders. There is no set directions for these exchanges. Participants are encouraged to express their opinions, ideas, feelings, and perceptions. Discussions are arranged around themes however the discussion can go in several different directions. Do you need to bring a Lunch? You do not have to bring a lunch to participate but it is encouraged. Unfortunately, the LGBT Outreach won't be able to provide lunches to the participants.

with Mel Gosset Gay, Straight, Bisexual Alliance President and Justin Murphy President of the Lambda Society October 8th: Remember Matthew Shepard with Okey Napier local community activist October 15th: LGBT and Mentally Healthy with Dr. Keith Beard of the Psychology Department October 22nd: Faith and Sexuality with Dana Sutton and Sarah Lamb from the MU Christian Center October 29th: LGBT Issues at Marshall University with Dr. Shari Clarke Vice President of Multicultural Affairs |
