Coming Out

Coming out is understanding your own sexual orientation or gender identity and then deciding to share it with some or all of the people in your life. Whether it’s for the first time ever or the first time today, the experience of coming out and living openly covers the full spectrum of human emotion — from fear to euphoria. Coming out is different for everyone and is a very personal decision. You — and only you — get to decide if, when, and how you do it.
