   Books:

Q
What is E-Z Borrow?
A
Search and borrow books and music scores directly from over 50 academic libraries in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and New Jersey simultaneously. Your requested items will arrive usually within 3-5 business days. You will be notified via email when the book or score is available for you to check out at the Drinko Library Circulation Desk or MUGC Library. The E-Z Borrow borrowing period is 28 days. This applies to all Marshall University students, faculty and staff. However, if you do not pick up your E-Z Borrow book within 10 days of arrival, you will be fined $5 per book. The book will be mailed back to the lending library. This fee is necessary to recoup shipping costs for frivolous requests. Overdue fines are $1 per book, per day.

   Books and Journals:

Q
Can I borrow books if I am a non-Marshall user, or if I am an alumni not currently attending Marshall University?
A
Members of the community, including non-Marshall and non-resident users, may get library checkout privileges with a Community Borrowers Card at a charge of $35. Alumni who have contributed to the Marshall Annual Fund and present their validated alumni cards at the Circulation desk in the Drinko library will be given borrowing privileges at no extra charge - renewable with alumni validation each year. Alumni and members of the community should talk to Library staff at any of these locations: Circulation Desk at Drinko Library, Music Library in Smith Hall, or MUGC Library, in order to pay for a card and fill out the necessary forms. For more information, call the Drinko Circulation Desk at 304-696-2321.

Q
Will books be delivered to my office?
A
You must pick up books in the library.

Q
How can I order books or journal articles that Marshall University does not own?

May I borrow journals?
A
Journals are available to be read and photocopied in the library only. Faculty may checkout bound serials for 24 hours.

Q
How can I return items when the Library is closed?
