The Whole Lesbian Sex Book
The father of two teenaged boys asked city officials to fine the Bentonville (AR) Public Library for keeping the book on open shelves. He wanted the city to pay him $10,000 per child, the maximum allowed under Arkansas obscenity law. The library director disagreed with the complainants conclusion that having Newman's book in the library follows an "immoral social agenda."
