Drinko Library - Donors

Support for Marshall University's fundraising drive to help finance construction of a new, technologically advanced library has been enormously gratifying with more than 3,900 gifts received to date. We're delighted with that overwhelming response, and we're especially proud of the some 500 current and retired members of the faculty and staff who have demonstrated their enthusiasm for the Marshall vision by contributing generously to the library campaign. These are the folks who know Marshall, its potential and its needs best, and their support is particularly meaningful.

The Drinko Library is named for the late Dr. John Deaver Drinko, a 1942 Marshall graduate and senior managing partner of Baker & Hostetler, one of the nation's largest law firms. He and his wife, Elizabeth Gibson Drinko, have been long-time significant supporters of academic programs at Marshall.

Our special thanks go out to all of the givers whose names appear on the library's Wall of Donors including those listed below.
