Coverage spans from 1975 to the present and contains surveyed data from over 800 music periodicals from over 40 countries, with English translations from 22 languages. This database duly cites book reviews, obituaries, news periodicals, and news and articles about music, musicians, and the music industry. -

To search for music of a particular country, use the Keyword option on MILES by entering "music" as one of the terms, and the name of the country as another of the terms. A keyword search may be further limited by format (e.g., sound recordings) by selecting the Limits button and then choosing from the drop down lists there. Other qualifiers are also available on the "filters" screen.
