IngentaConnect New Issue Alert service is an automated alerting service that delivers the table of contents of your favorite periodicals directly to your e-mail box. You may select unlimited titles for tables of content delivery.
Go to IngentaConnect at http://www.ingentaconnect.com. If you have never registered with IngentaConnect, you will need to set up your user profile by clicking on the Register button located in the right column of the IngentaConnect page.
Once you have registered, you can set up your New Issue Alert choices.
When you have registered and logged in to IngentaConnect, you will see the My Account page. In the Alerts & Searches section you can view and create new publication alerts by clicking on Create New Publication Alerts. This will open a page where you can set up your desired titles.
Now will see A-Z search links which you can click on to see titles to add. From here, you can also do a title search in the box or view titles grouped by subject by clicking on the Choose Collection drop-down menu.
Once you have found a title you want to add, check the box next to the title and click the Add button. (see below)
To deselect a title later, click on the Current tab. You will see the list of your current titles. Uncheck the box next to the title(s) and click Remove. If you want to delete all your titles, click select all and then remove. (See below.)
When you are finished adding and/or deleting titles for New Issue Alerts, you may sign out or you may continue searching in Ingenta. Whenever you sign in, you will be taken to the My Account page. If you click on either of the links under Alerts, you will see a Current tab, (which shows your current choices and allows you to delete titles you no longer wish to receive), and an Add tab, (which allows you to add new titles).
