Drinko 138 Scheduling Policy

DL 138, the library classroom, is used primarily to provide library instruction sessions for the students and faculty of Marshall University and is heavily scheduled for that purpose. When not already scheduled for library instruction sessions, Drinko 138 may be booked for other purposes, such as for campus-related presentations.

In scheduling DL 138, library instruction sessions will take precedence. When the room is being requested for a non-library instruction related purpose, the person requesting the room will be informed that his/her request will be tentatively scheduled, with the understanding that if a library instruction session request is received within one week of that event, that non-library instruction event may get “bumped.”

Drinko 138 is scheduled by Reference Librarian, Stephen Tipler. All requests for scheduling the room must be submitted to him, either by email (Stephen Tipler), the Instruction website (http://www.marshall.edu/library/instruction/default.asp) or by telephone (696-2907). Responses will be made within 48 hours after being received.
