Services to Users without MU Computer Accounts Policy
The Marshall University Libraries’ primary clientele are the students, faculty and staff of the university.
Any other library user without a Marshall University account may use the library and its resources under the following conditions:
- Users can access the library catalog and online databases using the walkup OPAC terminals. No printing capabilities are available from these terminals.
- Access to library databases from outside the library is prohibited due to licensing restrictions.
- Books and other library resources may be used in the libraries but may not be checked out. Coin operated photocopy machines are located in the first floor Copy Center in Drinko Library and in Government Documents in the Morrow Library.
- Any user who needs additional services can purchase a Community Borrower’s card at Circulation (for $45) that will enable them to checkout books and establish a relationship with Marshall University. The Community Borrower’s card will qualify them for a computing services account, which they can obtain on the 4th Floor of the Drinko Library.
