This online guide is developed specifically for those doing research in Religion. It provides a recommended list of resources, which encompasses print materials, electronic databases, and selected Internet resources.
It lists only resources that deal primarily with religion.
Because the academic study of religion is interdisciplinary, you may need to consult resources in disciplines such as literature, history, and sociology also.
For more extensive research help, contact Ron Titus, Electronic Services Librarian and Religion subject specialist, at 696-6575.

The online and print databases and indexes listed below will provide references to articles (or in some cases full-text articles) in a wide range of periodicals, from news magazines and newspapers to scholarly and professional journals. If an article is not available in full-text online, check the Journals Search under the journal name to see if it is available in hard-copy or full-text in another database. If Marshall does not own the journal, you can request copies using Information Delivery Services (IDS). If you have questions about choosing or using a database or index, please consult a librarian.

This list contains print and online journals available through Marshall University. The titles link to Journals Search where holding and location information may be found. Those titles available online in full-text have links from the name of the database provider. Certain databases have holds set up by journal (JSTOR and Kluwer) while others such as EBSCO link to the database and you would need to search for the journal.
