Emerson Sharp born 10/16/1901 and died 9/20/1983 and his son, Carman Emerson Sharp, Sr. born 2/28/1921 and died 12/19/1998, were interviewed in Marlington, WV on the families’ front porch.  Each had had a part in the local tannery and later the International Shoe Company which started a shoe manufacturing business in the town.
