William W. Harper was interviewed at his men’s clothing in Marlington. He was born 11/28/1911. He discussed some of his experience in the lumber business. His father W.W. Harper was involved in the wood business his entire life and his son William joined him in the late days of 1941. He served in the 87th infantry division in Europe during WWII and returned late in the summer of 1945.
