Wayne Jackson was born on 11/28/1899 and died 11/16/88. He lived on a farm near Buckeye, West Virginia. His son Wayne Jr. lives on the family farm today.  He said he was a blacksmith as was his father.   While he didn’t do much logging, he kept up wagons and other tools used in the logging operations.   At the time of the interview he was making knives in the blacksmith shop.
