                        Gallipolis, O. Dec 16 1878
Dear Jim
                            I have yours 10th inst
am working in a trial balance and there-
fore will make this letter short. I en-
close as requested draft on NY for thirty dolls,
$3000. Ned left here for New York Satur-
day night. he is in a big hurry to get back
Christmas, but intended coming to see you
if possible. Am glad to hear that you
are in such demand for Christmas. its
a compliment to you and a great sat-
isfaction to me. Nothing new here. not
even a big dance on foot. How about from
friend Barr and the California enterprir
