Charley and Joe arrived
here yesterday. I imagined yesterday morn-
ing that Charley would be out in the after-
noon so after dinner I heard the brass horn
and went out on the porch and stayed
for about an hour and Mr Vail came out
and I asked him if the brass had come
yes he said it was just going to the city
and came up here for passengers so I came
up to my room and Gus and Marry Hal-

not stopping to knock and it was Maria
Campbell Mary & Rics roomate she
was clear out of breath and she says
