Mr. Talbutt is her brother in law
and she has several sisters in law
in Paris also her Mother in law she
is a widow. Ben is going as
far as Louisville with her.
She hates to leave very much
and I do not blame her.
I am so sorry that Joe is not
coming for me. If I stay
awhile longer perhaps he an come
yet. I dread the trip alone so
much. Tell Harris and Maggie
I will answer their letters very soon.
Give my love to all at home
reserving a large share for yourself.
Don't wait to send my cloak by
anyone send it by express
Write very soon and [illegible] me
