                    Lexington Ky
                         Nove 3rd 1874
Dear Mrs. Aleshire
                             Marie is writing
you so I told her I would add a PS
I can not make up my mind to part
with her every time she speaks of going
home I with the rest of the family
begin to coax and coax- until she just
has to give up- She says she wants
to stay but dont know whether she
ought to or not- Now please do write
and tell her to stay Marie leaves
home so seldom and her health
is so good here that you might
spare her until Christmas I think
         Of course she will need some
