 kindly wrote me from Park-
ersburg and Hopefully-
so I heard from you on
your way- am sorry your
lunch turned out so badly-
suppose 'twas too warm on
the boat for its good health
Am glad you enjoyed the
sceneryso much. Mr. woods
said he was glad for your
sake you were going through
in day time for he knew you'd
enjoy it. So they did not
get tired waiting at the depot
for you. but met you there
" full force". Well I am glad
I received a letter from Andrew
from Staunton this morning
he told me of leaving you at
New Market. said when he
