ring. I also asked a-
bout the inscription
the plain ring. They
said it was sent to New
York to be moulded over.
Aunt Maria heard of
it in some way. I think
through Frank W[?]
who had just returned
from Washington and
came around here. I be-
lieve you heard of her
visit through Charley.
anyway, I was not in
the room. but will not
attempt to give you
