There was a match game
of ball yesterday between
the Gallipolis club and
Pomeroy Club. Gallipolis
stood 24 to Pomeroy 6.
I supposed you heard of
Rube's accident He was
holding a horse hitched
to a dray on the stage
down at the wharf-
boat when the horse
fell catching him be-
tween the railing and
the horse. The horse rose
and fell two or three
times against Rueb. He
was holding on the
railing. He said he thought
