the horse would pull
his leg off. They were
badly hurt one of them
was quite-badly mashed.
Lou Guinn came up
with him from the
river and carried him
in the house. Rueb was
as pale as a ghost when
the horse was finally
pulled off of him he fell
in the river after
getting out fell down so
thought his leg was bro-
ken. but fortunately it
was not. The doctor
said 'twas a wonder how
he escaped having it
broken. He seemed to suf-
