July 23th 1880.
Dear Brother
Jim
received your
message today but was
feeling badly and thought
he would not go until
next week. He had a
chill yesterday. am afraid
he will have chills and
fever again.
Dr. Harman took dinner
with us today. He told
Jim if his go down
with him today he'd bet
one if not two of the
girls come up with him
Monday. so he went. He
said to tell you if the
girls came up he'd let
you know and you
