                  July 27, 1880
My dear Brother
             Yours of 25th
inst received last night
with much pleasure.
Having brought it to me
after I had yours rep
stairs to bd Jim had given
up the idea of going out
today as he learned he
would have a short walk
of eight miles. he was
somewhat disappointed. but
I guess forgot all about
it after the arrival of
the Eva as Erin and Will
came up. to do some
shopping. Will and Jim
