MAN |
Man sits at the confluence of Buffalo Creek and the Guyandotte River. It was named for the last syllable of Ulysses Hinchman, a member of the House of Delegates from Logan County during the late 1860's. (Kenny, WV Place Names, p. 400) There were no known fatalities in Man from the Buffalo Creek Flood.
