   The following are depictions of life on board the CSS Alabama. There are photographs taken on board the ship, or drawings from photographs, taken in August 1863.
   Other images are line drawings that were created to illustrate an article, “Life on the ‘Alabama,’”
by One of the Crew, published in the Century Magazine in 1886.
   The final drawing depicts the treatment of prisoners taken by the ship.
