EMMETT OAKES HEATH

Emmett O. Heath, the son of Emmett O. and Arbutus Payne Heath, was born in 1928 in Oak Hill, West Virginia. He received his B.A. from the Citadel College and his M.S. from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He moved to Huntington in 1960. He was the secretary/treasurer of the local Midas Muffler Shop, as well as the sales representative of the Jantzen Sport Clothing Company. He was an avid Marshall supporter. He and his wife Lois, who also perished, were members of the Big Green. He was 42 when he died.
