Marvin Stone and Gen. Dean

Marvin L. Stone drinks a toast at a reception for
General William F. Dean.
Dean was the highest ranking officer captured by the North Koreans
during the Korean war.
Becoming separated from his men, he was captured in August 25, 1950,
and was held until September 9, 1953.
President Truman awarded him the Congressional Medal of Honor
while he was a Prisoner of War.
