The Only Place We Live is
a collaborative effort of three regional
authors, August Derleft from Wisconsin,
and Jesse Stuart and Robert Gard from
Kentucky. Each author is represented
with a section of his own, containing
selections from their published poetry and prose. Accompanying each
selection are artful carved woodcuts by
Frank Utpatel, which add beautifully
rendered visual images that enhances
and enriches each author’s text.
