I'm a really big fan of slogans. What is the official Lions Club slogan?
Marsha Brewster
Miami (OHIO)

I'm glad you asked, Marsha. The Lions Club slogan is "We Serve". Don't worry, though, Lions don't have to memorize the slogan.

My Grandpa and a bunch of other old people I know are Lions. Is it only for old people?
Herb Elfman
Ashland, Kentucky

While it is true that many Lions are of the older persuasion, Lionism is for people of all ages. The only prerequisite is that you love to help people and serve your community and world. The MU Lions work mostly as a unit or with other young people, however it is not uncommon for us to work with a local Lions Club. No matter age, race, religion or background, a love of service unites all Lions.

Why should I join the Lions Club when there are a million other service organizations on campus? Also, what are the top five video games of all time? Also, can you float me a few bucks?
Steve Johnson
Logan, WV

A)Steve, the Lions Club is different than other service organizations on campus. The Lions Club has been around since 1917...it is a very well established organization. It is known worldwide and the title of Lion lets everyone know that you serve ( your campus, community, state, etc). If you are looking for a service organization to join, I would urge you to join the MU Lions Club for a few reasons: we do worthwhile and important projects; we have no minumum amount of service you must do to retain membership; it is affordable--the dues are small and the club tries to ensure that no financial burden is placed on any member. What else could a student ask for in a service organization?
B) 1. Tecmo Bowl 2. Metal Warriors 3. Mortal Kombat II 4. Super Mario All-Stars 5. Baseball Stars
C) No.
