The student will select, with approval of the graduate director, a committee consisting of at least three and at most five faculty members from the group of professors that have taught his/her graduate courses. The chairman of the committee must have the level of Graduate Faculty Status as determined by the Graduate College.
With the approval of the graduate director, the student will select 5 graduate courses, including at least two at the 600 level and including MTH 528, 546, and 550 (if these courses were taken as graduate courses). The oral exam questions will be solicited from the professors who taught the courses.
