Enrollment Costs and Accommodations

Medical H.E.L.P. group sessions last for five weeks and take place in January, June, and September. The cost of the course is $3500.00 for non-residents and $2000.00 for WV residents. The small group meets for four hours per day, five days per week. Students also work one-on-one with a reading specialist one hour per day, four days per week. In addition to this, computer lab work and homework assignments are given. Other assignments are made according to specific needs of students. Medical H.E.L.P. is available in individual sessions for 5-10 day periods. The individual sessions are $100.00 per hour for physicians and $50.00 per hour for medical students. This is for those who cannot participate for five weeks. We recommend no less than 5 hours per day. All fees are paid to the Marshall University H.E.L.P. Program before the sessions begin.
