Mesa Meeting for 3-15-2001
Banquet will be on April 12, 2001 in the John Marshall Room from 7:00-9:00
Mr. Hill – Mentioned Collegiate Environmental Network and how it would work with businesses and legislature to help us gain job training and internships. We would be working with Dupont and Carbide and it would overall be a way for us to come together for greater leverage.
Amy- mentioned Greening of campus and how there is a workshop at Ball Sate in September 2001. www.bsu.edu/greening
Also do we want to do something with the Shepherd kids before the Governors Conference and if so what do we want to do.
Also, what is going on with the webpage. Do we have more then the basic page and is it up yet? Justin and Jim are working on it now and it should be up shortly.
The next meeting will be on April 19th.
Edger Hooper – Solid Waste Conference will be on October 25th – 27th at Snowshoe
Dr. Little – Wanted to know if there would be money available for students to go to these different conferences.
Hill- There will be money available through Dupont
Hooper- Suggested that we ask the EPA for money.
