McManus Fellowship

Provides the position of a legislative intern for the duration of one academic year that will include one regular session of Legislature and monthly interim sessions. Provides students with 1 year's worth of tuition and fees at his or her university and a stipend and per diem internship pay.

Positions students to assist current lawmakers that serve in the Senate or House of Delegates, having them either study the lawmaking process through research and assistance or to assist standing committees.

Space Grant Internship Program at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL).

$4,000 to $5,000 stipend and housing for a 10 week program for students interested in working on NASA missions or in space-related research opportunities. The program will allow participants to work directly with APL engineers and scientists.
