MU-ADVANCE Mini Grants Support Travel and Research Development for Seven STEM Faculty

The MU-ADVANCE Faculty Development Committee funded seven $1000 mini-grants. Since these funds are specifically allocated for activities expected to tangibly develop faculty careers, awards for travel to enhance research collaborations, develop grant proposal submissions, and research efforts were given priority.

Each year, MU-ADVANCE will continue to offer mini-grants. Our projected annual deadlines are Sept. 15, Jan 15, and May 15. Since this is an NSF-funded program, all activities must also fall within their framework. For future applications, we recommend that you contact the MU-ADVANCE Office if there are questions about whether an activity is covered. Since this is an NSF-funded program, all activities must also fall within their framework.
