The Hunchback of Notre Dame
An Evening of Silent Film and Pipe Organ Accompaniment
![]()
The Keith-Albee's Mighty Wurlitzer Pipe Organ will roar to life as Scott Foppiano, 2007 A.T.O.S. Theatre Organist of The Year accompanies the 1923 film The Hunchback Of Notre Dame. Lon Chaney stars in this silent classic - the first version of Walter Hugo's novel about the tortured hunchback. Half-blind and grotesquely deformed, Quasimodo dwells within the sanctuary of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Ridiculed and exploited by a cruel world, he passionately rings the cathedral's great bells to express his feelings. Experience Lon Chaney's great performance, and enjoy the organ's orchestral accompaniment as this classic tale unfolds before your very eyes.
