For three decades - '50s, '60s and '70s - Memorial Field House was the home of the Thundering Herd basketball. At left in a Marshall beanie and shirt, an impromptu cheerleader who often showed up for Herd games was Mino D'Aurora, a legislator from Brooke
County. He always proved popular in exciting Herd fans.
