Advising Online Students
Can’t make a schedule for your undergraduate advisee? Are you having difficulty finding online summer courses students need to graduate on time? Wondering if the General Education Core I (CT) and Core II courses are available in electronic format? Do you have a student who is about to graduate who cannot find an institution that offers his/her desired graduate program in West Virginia?
Take a moment to review the benefits of Marshall’s membership in the Southern Regional Education Board’s Electronic Campus Academic Common Market. Online courses can be obtained to supplement an undergraduate or graduate experience while still at Marshall OR students who are also WV residents can attend graduate programs not offered in WV that are available within the SREB network and pay in-state tuition (both online or F2F programs are available). Learn more about this opportunity and share this information with your advisees.
