This service is provided for Marshall University students who cannot visit the University College Tutoring Center on the Huntington campus.

Tuesday	11:00 am to 1:00 pm; 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Wednesday	11:00 am to 1:00 pm; 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Thursday	11:00 am to 1:00 pm; 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Friday	no hours at this time
Sunday	5:00 pm to 6:00 pm; 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Role of the Peer Tutors:
Our tutors are available to -

Help students identify their problem in the course;
Model ways of thinking, focusing, outlining, etc.;
Help students gain self-confidence and positive thinking.

Role of the Students:
When you participate in a tutoring session, there are a few things we expect from you:

Please attempt to solve the problem yourself first. Then, if you are still having difficulty, when you work with a tutor explain your attempt to solve the problem. That way we can try to track your steps.
Please be specific about your assignment so we can understand what problem you are having. Please be specific in the questions you ask.
Please courteous to the tutor. Also, please be cooperative with the tutor. Tutors are available to help you, but they mayt not have all the answers.
Please be patient. It could take time to give you an answer to your problem (depending on the complexity of the problem). Please do not wait until the last minute to request help in your subject.
