Project Identification & Engraving

Project Identification is a nationally recognized property identification program to deter theft and aid in recovery. Your property is identified by engraving your social security number on your property and by filling out a property identification card which is kept on file with the Marshall University Police Department. For unusual or high value items such as computers, televisions, car phones, disk players, game systems, etc., it is also advisable to take pictures of these items. To obtain further information on the Project Identification Program, please contact the Marshall University Police Department at 696-4357(HELP) or ask your resident advisor or director about scheduling an Operation Identification Program for your floor or dorm.
