MUWC Pool Session Information Sheet

Pool Sessions at Henderson Center/Gullickson Hall Complex Pool (formally known as the Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium) for the following weeks:

 

Dates: TBA   Thursdays @ 7 pm-9pm

Directions: From I-64, take exit 11 (Hal Greer exit), turn right off the exit ramp and continue on Hal Greer Ave. all the way downtown.  Turn right on 5th Ave and go about 700yds. to 20th St.  Turn left on 20th St. and drive 2 blocks down to 3rd Ave. where you'll turn left again, drive about a block and start looking for parking places.  The overhead pedestrian bridge you'll see leads from the parking garage to the Henderson Center.                  Map here.

 

 

 

Information about MUWC pool session:

 

-  free to student, staff, and faculty who wish to see if kayaking interests them

-  To receive instruction, attend multiple pool sessions, or participate in events MUWC membership is required

-  MUWC members must have members dues paid up ($20 per semester)
-  Outsiders (Non-Marshall participants) $20 one-time fee for the 14 sessions of the spring.

        

 
MUWC Membership information:

Student Membership
    -dues $20
    -rewards: can participate in organized trips and take advantage of funds received from
    grants and fund-raises, use the clubs boats or gear on trips, excellent discount with Whitewater Warehouse

Affiliate Members
    - if you are an outsider and you paid for the pool session this is what you are
