It can’t be that easy, can it?
Actually, it can. You just decide what do buy – a box of green pens, some post-it notes, stair tread covers, or orange parking cones – we’ll give you the vendor options along with pricing, and once you make your selection, we’ll place the order for you.
How do I access myBUY?
You log in to myBUY through myMU. Go to the Employee tab and click on myBUY. You will enter your network log in and password.
Can I log in to the test environment?
Yes. If you would like to test the waters without actually placing an order, visit the myBUY Development Site. DO NOT use your actual p-card number on the Development site. Our testing number is 4111 1111 1111 1111. Use an expiration one year from the current month, and a security code of 1234.
There are other vendors that I would like to see in myBUY. What do I do?
Please email us at myBUY with any suggestions for vendors. We have only a limited number of slots for vendors, and we prioritize them as they are suggested, based on pricing and our volume of business with them.
My purchase card limit is not high enough to accommodate the order I want to place. How do I request an increase?
Please ask your supervisor to email the p-card team with the purchase you want to make and the limit you are requesting. We will review your request to determine if it will be approved.
There are other employees in my area who want to shop and then assign the cart to me. What is the process?
If they are not already set-up as a purchaser, please email us at myBUY with their name and network username. We will load them into the site and send an email confirming they can shop.
How do I know if I someone has assigned an order for me to confirm or complete?
Once someone has placed all the items they want to order in their cart, they may select “assign order” on the [XXX???XXX] page, and input your login. You will receive a confirmation e-mail that someone has assigned an order to you. This will place the entire order into your myBUY, and allow you to complete the purchase.
Is there a way to save items I frequently order, so I don’t have to look them up every time?
Yes – you may save items you frequently purchase into your “favorites” in myBUY.
What if I want to modify or cancel an order once it’s been placed?
Please be sure to review your order carefully before submitting. Once an order has been placed, you will not be able to make any changes, or cancel an order.
How do I know the order actually got placed?
Once you have submitted the items you would like to purchase, you will receive a confirmation e-mail providing you with all the details, and will be able to access your order via the online website.
