Scholarly and Creative Activities |
- Assisted in the development of the Program
Improvement Review process for reviewing public school science and mathematics
programs. This project was a collaborative effort among the West Virginia
Department of Education, Appalachian Rural Systemic Initiative, Regional
Educational Service Agency, II, and Marshall University. The process involves
observing in classrooms, conducting interviews with major stakeholders (principals,
teachers, parents, and students), writing a comprehensive report including
recommendations for improving science and mathematics curriculum, instruction,
organization, and assessment.
