Parent & Family Weekend Scheduled for October 3-4, 2008.
Mark your calendars!
The weekend of October 3-4, 2008,
has been designated as Parent & Family
Weekend. The weekend will highlight
our Herd vs. Cincinnati Bearcats football
game on Friday evening at 8:00 pm. The
game will be nationally televised and we are
expecting a huge crowd. As other
events are finalized, details will be posted
on this website.

Marshall OneBook Program
For Fall 2008, all entering freshmen will be reading The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien as part of Marshall's OneBook program. Students will read, discuss and participate in activities and events related to this book.
Marshall introduced the OneBook program in Fall 2007. The first book was The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. More information about the program is available here.

It's every parent's dream that their child will find a good job when her or she completes his or her college education. Visiting Campus?
Parking Information:
If you are planning to visit
your son or daughter on campus, you can
obtain a temporary parking permit for $2 per
day for surface lot parking. This
permit will allow you to leave and re-enter
your designated lot. To obtain your
permit upon arrival, you may visit the
Parking Office located at 1801 5th
Avenue. This
pricing is not available on game days when
the price will be $5 for parking on a
surface lot or $10 for garage parking.
Re-entry is not allowed on game days.

office by calling (304) 696-6684.
Guest Meals in the Residence Halls: If you are visiting campus and your son or daughter is a participant in a Residence Hall meal plan, you may accompany him/her in the Twin Towers or Harless cafeterias for a meal free of charge. Other guests are charged a flat rate fee in either cafeteria.
Sending a package to campus?
If you are sending a care package to campus, each resident hall student is assigned a mailbox within his/her residence hall. All mail should be addressed to the student by name followed by the room number and hall name, Marshall University, Huntington, WV 25755.
