DNA specialist visits as forensic science speaker

Michael L. Baird, best known for his testimony in the country's first court case utilizing DNA technology resulting in a conviction will give a seminar on parentage testing at noon today at the Forensic Science Center.

Baird, the vice president of laboratory operations at Lifecodes Corporation, has testified in over 400 court case since the first and has over 100 publications on the subject of DNA technology.
