Faculty Senate to discuss degrees, commencement speakers

Marshall's Faculty Senate is scheduled to meet Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Memorial Student Center's Alumni Lounge.

On the agenda for the monthly meeting is a report by Dr. Marshall Onofrio and an address by President Dan Angel.

Also on the agenda are confidential committee recommendations to discuss individuals who will receive honorary degrees. The senate will also discuss choices for a commencement speaker.

Dr. James Sottile, Faculty Senate president and professor in the College of Education and Human Services, will make announcements to the senate.
